Good for you! I have had this opintion for quite some time.....kudos for stating it so well. But here's something for you. I am currently teaching without a degree but for a short term. Without a degree I am certainly not an ideal candidate "on paper" so where do I look for work if I want to be considered for my teaching ability and not a peice of paper? If you have any tips, please e-mail me.

Again, well said.
